Lamb Stew​

Slow cooker stew

 

Lamb Stew ingredients 

  • 2 lbs lamb stew meat 
  • 1 med onion, diced  
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1 1/2 cup red wine 
  • 1 lb baby Bella mushrooms 
  • 2 cups beef broth 
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • 2 bay leaves 
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped 
  • 1 1/2 lbs red potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 3 medium carrots, cut into 1/2-inch think pieces 
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped 
  • 1 cup frozen or canned sweet peas

Garnish 

  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • fresh rosemary 

Instructions 

1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker expect peas and garnish. 

2. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 7 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours

3. Add the green peas during the last hour of cooking. 

4. Find and pull out two bay leaves before serving. 

5. Garnish with fresh parsley and rosemary, serve warm and enjoy!
